HighLevel Tasks: Filter State Now Persists
HighLevel updated the Tasks page to remember your filter settings, even when you navigate to other pages.
This article is based on a video. Watch the full video here.
What Changed
Previously, when you set filters on the Tasks page and then navigated elsewhere, you'd lose your filter settings. Now:
- Filter state persists
- Come back to the same view
- No need to re-apply filters
How to Use It
- Go to Contacts → Tasks
- Set your filters (assignee, status, due date, etc.)
- Navigate to other pages
- Return to Tasks — your filters are still applied
Why This Matters
Workflow Efficiency
If you filter tasks to see only "overdue" or "assigned to me," you don't want to reset that every time you check something else.
Team Management
Filter to see one team member's tasks, check a contact, come back — still showing that team member's tasks.
Focus
Stay focused on the subset of tasks you're working on without losing context.
Common Filter Combinations
- My tasks — Assigned to current user
- Overdue — Past due date
- Today's tasks — Due today
- By status — Open, completed, etc.
- By contact — Tasks for specific people
