How HighLevel Makes You Money

Most agencies juggle 5-10 tools that don't talk to each other. HighLevel replaces them with one platform—CRM, email, landing pages, SMS, scheduling. Save on subscriptions, learn one system. Plus white-label it and resell to clients as your own software.

HighLevel Who's Who: 50 Key Players in the Ecosystem

I've been in the HighLevel world since 2018-2019, and I knew many of these people from the ClickFunnels days before that. This is my personal, completely biased list of who's who in the HighLevel community—people I've met, worked with, or watched from a distance.

This isn't official. If you didn't make the list, no disrespect. These are just the people who've crossed my path and made an impression.

About Me

James Hurst — The Marketing Show

That's me. HighLevel Community Leader, Affiliates Bronze Award winner, and two-time ClickFunnels Dream Car winner. I run multiple businesses including MyTechSupport.com, TheMarketingShow.com, GoKartPark.com, and FifteenYearMortgage.com. Been in HighLevel since 2018-2019 and knew a lot of these folks from the ClickFunnels days before that. I coach agency owners through Seven Figure Agency, created training for Extendly, and worked support for HL Pro Tools. Now I run The Marketing Show, creating content about marketing automation and the tools that make it work.

The Corporate Team

These are the people building and running HighLevel itself.

Shaun Clark — The Face of HighLevel

The man, the myth, the legend. Shaun is the CEO and the most transparent, accessible leader you'll find in SaaS. He puts out two or three Loom videos every single day—updates, releases, bug fixes, enhancements. I've had Zoom calls with him. A lot of early adopters have. If something major goes wrong, you can DM Shaun Clark directly and he'll take care of you. He's in the weeds with us. He listens. He loves what he does and loves his team.

Chase Buckner — The Original Tutorial Guy

Back in the day, before the crazy amount of content that exists now, Chase was the one making the original tutorial videos on YouTube—white Apple AirPods, walking you through features. You might have thought he was the founder because he was the face of it early on. Super nice guy. I've met him in person quite a few times.

Robin Alex — Co-Founder

One of the co-founders. Not as public-facing as Shaun, but definitely right there in the C-suite. He speaks at the events. Super nice, and the leadership he's provided has really shaped what HighLevel has become and where it's going.

Varun Vairavan — CTO

The CTO of HighLevel, and I just love Varun. He's so smart—like a technical whiz—but also very humble and approachable. He listens to feedback, and I remember telling him some things in person and you could tell they take that feedback seriously. Even features like custom objects that people were pushing for—they're coming. That's the culture Varun brings. He's funny, he seems so nice, and if you get a chance to talk to him it's a treat. I believe he's based out of Qatar.

Paulson Thomas — The Sales Guy

Paulson has the sales background and has been around for a long time. He's always putting on different events with different models for having success on HighLevel—webinars with Joel Kaplan, James Bonadies, Frank Kern, Andy OD, and others. Met him back in the ClickFunnels days at Funnel Hacking Live.

The Big Names

These are people who probably don't need an introduction—massive followings, household names in the marketing world.

Frank Kern — RainMaker AI

I actually didn't know Frank Kern that well—I guess I missed that boat—but he's an OG. 329,000 followers. He runs RainMaker AI, a SaaS built on HighLevel with probably 500+ sub-accounts. He's doing HighLevel SaaS at scale.

Billy Gene (Billy Shaw) — San Diego Legend

Has offices in San Diego. Thousands of students across many countries. Really fun ads. He's an official HighLevel partner and has spoken at the Summit multiple times. I've got some of his courses—great stuff.

Peng Joon — The Global Speaker

Big HighLevel guy. I don't hear from him too much in my circles, but he's a major player with a massive following.

Agency Coaches & Programs

These are the people teaching agencies how to scale with HighLevel.

Josh Nelson — Seven Figure Agency

There's a lot of people who call themselves "six figure this" or "seven figure that," but Josh Nelson is the real deal. And his Seven Figure Agency program is the real deal. He started with a plumbing and HVAC SEO agency, grew it to over $5 million in annual recurring revenue, and has been running Seven Figure Agency for ten years now.

Funny story: I joined their Facebook group and met him in person. He said "James, you're in the paid Facebook group but you're not paying." I was like, "Oh yeah, they let me in." He said, "You know what, why don't you come coach for us on HighLevel?" I said "Deal."

So I've been coaching in Seven Figure Agency as a HighLevel coach—I do it every Wednesday. Josh and his wife Yesenia run the program together. I've been out to their events at the Marriott in Miami where they bring in hundreds of the top agencies from across the country. I know a lot of these members. They do plumbers, sheds, martial arts—good people running real businesses. Hiring, training, doing full-service agency work. PPC, Facebook, social media. Big HighLevel fans.

James Bonadies & Jason McKim — Local Marketing Vault

You can't mention one without the other. These are the guys behind Local Marketing Vault. I joined their program in 2017-2018. 7,400 members, high-end program (probably $15K-$3K range).

Here's what blows me away: they have Q&A calls every single day of the week. Newbie Q&A Mondays, PPC Campaign Tuesdays, HighLevel Wednesdays, Main LMV Thursdays, Facebook Campaign reviews, General Agency calls. They've been doing this for years without fail. I've been to their live event in San Diego. Good solid training, always updated.

Joel Kaplan

I just really like Joel Kaplan. I don't know him that well, but he's a great coach who runs programs for agency owners.

Allie Bloyd

Local marketing is her specialty. She has a Two Comma Club award and a great following. People think very highly of her.

Premium Brands & Summit Hosts

Karen & JC Hite — Hite Digital

In my opinion, they're like a premium brand in the space. Faith-based couple. They've done franchising, put on the Commitment Summit, had connections to Nicaragua and Costa Rica events with big speakers like John Maxwell and people from Shark Tank. Three or four thousand dollar events. I've always had a good opinion of these guys.

Danny Clarke — The Ultimate Summit

Based in the UK. Has like 500+ SaaS accounts—crushing it. If you want to find out more about his event, check out ultimatesummit.com.

Tech & Automation Experts

These are the technical wizards who understand HighLevel at a deep level.

Keaton Walker

Early community member who's been around since the beginning.

Rupert Samuel — LevelUp Marketplace

Based in the UK. I just barely met him but he's really sharp. He runs LevelUp Marketplace for HighLevel resources.

Matt Ratliff — Funnel Techie

When people ask me about email, I usually send them to Matt. He's the one I've worked most closely with out of the email deliverability experts. Check out funneltechie.com—he does great work. Known him since the ClickFunnels days.

Marvin Coffman — Automation Genius

Very technical with an "Automation Genius" focus. He's been around HighLevel since the early days when it was in beta. I recently did a testimonial for one of my snapshots from him. He has his own following and we're working on a snapshot together—so look for something like that to come. Definitely someone with automation chops who's been around a long time.

Spencer Mecham — Buildapreneur

Known him since the ClickFunnels days (around 2017). Great guy, great family guy. He's an affiliate marketer with Affiliate Secrets (now at 3.0). He has a Facebook group of 25,000 people—Automation Nation for affiliate marketing and passive income. Almost a quarter million YouTube subscribers with 305+ videos. One of the top affiliates for both ClickFunnels and HighLevel.

Coaches & Community Leaders

Stephanie Dove Blake

Known her since the ClickFunnels days. She's a sweetheart—a mom who figured out online marketing for chiropractors and had an amazing journey. Two Comma Club Award winner, Funnel Hacking Live speaker, HighLevel Summit speaker. Very humble, successful. She has a special place in my heart. I've done a little bit of business with her.

Julie Chenell

Major figure from the ClickFunnels world who's also connected to the HighLevel ecosystem.

Gusten Sun

Great content creator in the space.

Alex Schlinsky — Prospecting on Demand

Known for his agency growth strategies and the Prospecting on Demand program. Super approachable, open, and transparent. A good guy to follow.

Shawn Greenway & Javi Velazquez — Snapshot Academy

These two are partners who've built Snapshot Academy and are well-known for their HighLevel snapshots and training. They help people get set up with ready-to-use HighLevel snapshots.

William Gordon Gruber

Community contributor and Facebook group admin. Always helping out in the community.

Jasper Aiken

If you're looking for technical help with workflows, Make, or Zapier integration with HighLevel, Jasper is your guy. Very technical and helpful.

Johann Nogueira & Walter Bayliss — Lead Connector Experts

These two work together on HighLevel projects, particularly around Lead Connector and technical integrations.

Joshua B. Knox — Twilio Specialist

If you need help with Twilio and phone system integration with HighLevel, Joshua knows his stuff.

Adam McInnes & Brendan Barth — Automation Experts

Partners in the space who specialize in snapshots and automation workflows.

Bridget Bartlett

One of the sweetest people you'll meet. She's had her share of challenges but has put in the work. She's an expert at getting HighLevel certified and has been very helpful to people getting started. Just a really friendly, community-oriented person.

Will Hurst

Active community member doing good work in the ecosystem.

Bryce Dornself — CloseBot Creator

One of the more well-known AI bot builders in the HighLevel space. He created CloseBot, which is probably the most popular AI chatbot solution for HighLevel. If someone asks me about AI bots and HighLevel, Bryce's name comes up. He's built something really impressive.

Samuel Michael Carlson — UpHex Founder

The founder of UpHex, which is a lead generation and white-label ads platform that integrates with HighLevel. He's built a solid company and is well-respected in the community.

Jason Orban

Community builder and SaaS developer in the HighLevel space.

Nuno Tavares

International presence (Portugal-based I believe) in the HighLevel world. Known for his technical expertise.

B. N. Alfonso

One of the email deliverability experts I trust. Been around for quite a while and knows how to get HighLevel email configuration dialed in.

Krystin Ruschman

One of the email deliverability experts I recommend. She was a speaker at the Level Up Summit and the bigger players hire her when it really matters.

Cathy Olson — Funnel Gorgeous

Works with Julie Chenell on Funnel Gorgeous. Great content and community presence.

Tom Bristol — Marketer Toolkit

Active in the ecosystem with his Marketer Toolkit offerings.

Jacob Radcliffe — Curated Apps

Known for Curated Apps, which provides HighLevel add-ons and integrations.

Melissa & Stephanie Blair — The Blairs / Cultivating Sales

You can't really mention Melissa without her daughter Stephanie—the two Blairs. They seem like they've just been around for quite a while as early adopters. SaaS Preneur Award winners. Stephanie was actually putting together some of the early certification training. When I was first getting started, these guys were people I looked up to—and I still do. They had the Academy for HighLevel which eventually was picked up by Extendly. Cultivating Sales was their thing. Wonderful people.

Ross Christifulli — Consolidata

Ross and I go back to the ClickFunnels days. He's a fun guy with opinions who drops value posts in the groups. He's an entrepreneur with local businesses and software. His biggest thing right now is Consolidata—I've heard great things about it. He's also getting into bots. A lot of people are very happy with Consolidata.

Dominic Baptist — TikTok Success Story

Dom is like this 25-year-old who was working at the mall for $15/hour, jumped into HighLevel feet first, and worked his tail off. He got on TikTok, had success, put some paid ads behind it, and became one of the top affiliates. Super nice guy, super transparent. He was basically working around the clock helping his affiliates and referrals. Great affiliate success story—spoke at the HighLevel Summit. I've had coaching calls with him and he just opened up, showed me his TikTok ad platform. Open book. He's got 100 videos on YouTube at 21,000 subscribers. Great information.

Dar Holdsworth — Chiro Dominance

I've seen Dar speak at a couple different events—the HighLevel Summit and the HL Pro Tools events. He's known for Chiro Dominance. He's got the affiliate side, the coaching, and his SaaS—a lot of different angles for making money with HighLevel. He's well known in the Chiropractic niche. There's even a story about him building custom motorcycles for celebrities like Tim Allen. HighLevel changed his life, and he's someone great to gather wisdom from.

Jason Wardrop — Real Estate SaaS

Jason is in the same vein as Dom—a top affiliate. He had his real estate SaaS and quite a large YouTube following. Look at these numbers: 25,000 referrals, 178,000 clicks. He's one of the top affiliates for HighLevel and has spoken at multiple events. He helped put on one in Utah. I have that Utah connection with him—we've met in person a couple times. He has 209,000 subscribers and 893 videos. That's quite an accomplishment. He has great content and doesn't just spam people.

Christine Seale — The Go High Level Queen

I know Christine from the ClickFunnels days. I had this group called the Dream Car Winners group for ClickFunnels and she had joined—that's how I first got to know her. Some of her first live videos may have been in that group. She went on to have a YouTube channel and was an earlier adopter of HighLevel. She's very technical with an MBA. She came on early and started teaching and introducing HighLevel to a lot of people. She is known as the "Go High Level Queen." I want to say she's broken a million dollars in HighLevel affiliate commissions. She also has coaching and other offerings. YouTube channel with 12,600 subscribers.

Beant Singh — Extendly Founder

Just the nicest gentleman. He is the founder of Extendly, one of the most well-known third-party white-label support platforms. If you get 10-15-20 clients on your SaaS and don't want to be sitting around the clock supporting them, Extendly has chat support agents, maybe Zoom calls, and a ton of snapshots. I actually did some coaching for them—you might see some of my YouTube videos I did for Extendly. Good relationship with those people. I'll mention Zach, Michael, and Mario too—there's quite a few people associated with the Extendly brand. Very well respected in the community. They've got animation studios, white-label support, and more.

Jason Rule — GHL Plugins Founder

Jason runs GHL Plugins, a suite of 18 plugins and 1,200+ apps that extend HighLevel's capabilities. I had him on The Marketing Show to walk through the major plugins—onboarding tools, project management, custom values automation. His approach is interesting: they watch HighLevel's idea board, identify gaps, and build production-ready solutions before HighLevel gets to them. Sometimes HighLevel eventually builds the same feature, but Jason's tools are already deployed and working. His specialty is operations—making things just work. Super technical guy with a great team.

Matt DeSeno & Graham Lightner — HL Pro Tools

Matt and Graham are the guys behind HL Pro Tools, which is one of the biggest names in the community. Matt was one of the early people who adopted HighLevel and has a huge operation. I actually worked as a chat support agent for them for a while and got to see behind the scenes of their operation—I was so impressed. They are much bigger than I realized. The chat would get slammed. They have Zoom calls, chat support, and training. They have human resources, Slack channels, a lot of tech running—they're a big operation. Your support would be in good hands with HL Pro Tools. Great choice for either Extendly or HL Pro Tools—check them both out, try their free trials, and see which one you vibe with better.

Mike Cooch — The OG

I met Mike at the HighLevel Summit. A lot of people said he's "the OG"—he's been around for a long time. He goes live with his office hours on YouTube. I see his ads too. Great guy who I think loves to ski—so if you can get him to go skiing, that might be a great way to hang out with Mike. He has his YouTube channel with around 9,000 subscribers and does office hours every week, I believe on Fridays.

Rob Bailey — Database Reactivation Expert

Rob is one of the OGs and actually helped the co-founders launch HighLevel out of beta. He had been doing text message marketing (I think with gyms) using something like Skipio, and he saw the power of HighLevel. He's really well known for database reactivation—basically helping clients reactivate their existing email/phone lists to drum up business. Rob's got great assets, templates, and snapshots. He's got his Facebook group, his Skool group, and gives a ton of value away for free. Great person to follow. Go join his Facebook group, get into his Skool program, and see what he has to offer.

The Bottom Line

This ecosystem is full of real people running real businesses—not get-rich-quick schemes. These are agency owners, coaches, SaaS builders, and community leaders who've built something meaningful with HighLevel.

If you're new to the space, pick a few people from this list and follow their content. Join their free communities. See who resonates with you. The best part about HighLevel is the community—and these are the people who make it special.
